Homestay

On this course you live and study in a teacher's home. You study English one to one and have all meals and social activities with the teacher or their family.

  24-hour supervision by the teacher or teacher's family.
  Designed for 11-16 year olds.
  Visits to local places of interest at least twice a week.
  Can be linked with an English Plus course.

Young Homestay teachers are specially selected for their teaching ability, enthusiasm and friendliness.  They know how to provide a warm, friendly and caring environment to allow a young person to maximise their learning. A needs analysis, weekly progress reports and a course specially designed for the individual learner makes a Young Learners Homestay course a unique language learning opportunity

Course objectives

By the end of any Homestay course a young learner will be able to:

Use English more effectively and with greater confidence
Interact meaningfully with British people and understand British culture
Have an in-depth awareness of your linguistic strengths and areas that need improvement
