| Business and English Studies (Certificate & Higher Certificate) These courses in Business and English Studies are designed for students who wish to improve their general English language skills as well as developing an understanding in the areas of Business Studies, International Business Communications, Finance, Management, Marketing, International Trade and Information Technology.
 Course Objectives
 
 
  To equip students with the necessary Business and Business Communications skills in order to return home with increased knowledge and confidence. 
  To achieve accurate and effective English Language Communication skills. 
  To enable students to cope with business and its terminology in an international environment. 
  To enable students to reach a competent level of computer literacy. 
  To enable students to progress to Higher Education establishments in the UK, to gain entry to degree and higher diploma courses in Business Management or related subjects  Programme of Studies
 30 lessons each week
  - 20 lessons Business Studies covering a comprehensive range of topics to equip the student with the skills and knowledge needed in the business environment. - 10 lessons General English at the appropriate level.

 Entry Requirements Students must have a minimum Intermediate level of English on arrival and have completed secondary education in their own country.  Entry Test On arrival all students complete an English language entry test, followed by an MLS business assessment and are placed in classes accordingly. Class Size Maximum 12 students per class.  Period of Study  The programmes normally start in September, January, April and July. Certificate Course - 4-12 weeks
 Higher Certificate Course - 24 weeks
 Diploma Course - 36 weeks
 University Foundation Diploma - 36 weeks
 Course Certification  At the end of the course, on completion of the required coursework and final test, each trainee will receive a Certificate, Higher Certificate or Diploma of Achievement as well as a full report on their progress and potential for further training.  Progression to Higher Education  MLS students have a good track record in progressing to British Universities having successfully completed the MLS University Foundation Diploma Business and English Studies and attained the required language level (British Council IELTS examination). All students have access to the MLS University  Counselling Service  A comprehensive counselling tutorial support programmes available to all students throughout their stay at MLS.	   |
