This course cover the basic principles of teaching and learning a foreign language. Lessons focus on teaching techniques, planning, classroom management, language analysis and presenting a new language.  Regent offers an intensive or part-time option for this course.

The Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) is an introductory course for candidates with little or no experience of English language teaching.

Intensive and part time courses

Both the CELTA and the CTESOL are available as an intensive or a part-time course.
 
If time is precious, the intensive course provides initial teacher training in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) over a period of four weeks. With our expert trainers, in a short time you can be teaching English.
 
The part time course takes twenty one weeks.  It has the advantage that it allows you to continue work whilst studying or working.
