We support and organise you and your classmates so you make good progress over a three, six or nine month course.

Regent offers a variety of programmes from our Academic Year Programme to individual certificates. These courses are available throughout the UK in our schools and are designed to help you achieve your goals for school, college or university.

Whether you want to take a year out before starting university or simply immerse yourself in British life and culture, our AYP and ASP courses ensure that you make the most of your time and take the stress out of planning your gap year.

Your programme is planned so you study effectively, improve your English and take at least one recognised examination (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge First Certificate or Cambridge Advanced examination).

The Academic Year Programme comprises 32 weeks of tuition.
The Academic Semester Programme comprises 23 weeks of tuition. You may take up to four weeks of holiday in each course.

Course objectives

By the end of an Academic course you will be able to:

  Communicate in English more effectively.
  Take your examination results to a college, university or prospective employer.
  Have in-depth knowledge of living in another country.

Course designed for:

Students who want to follow a long term course and gain IELTS or Cambridge examinations (CAE, FCE).

Programme Options

30 lessons (22.5 hours per week)
The most cost-effective way to improve your English while experiencing British life in-depth.
 
20 Afternoon Lessons (15 hours per week)
The low-cost option. Study at the school in the afternoon and have the morning free to enjoy local life and culture. Includes 10 English lessons and 10 lessons of Study Options.
 
20 Morning Lessons (15 hours per week)
Study in the morning and have the afternoons free to experience local life and culture. Includes 20 English lessons.
